A GDC registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, an Oral Health Educator and previously a Dental Nurse and now founder of The Virtual Hygienist, she works both clinically and in educating clients and dental practice staff in the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth and preventing dental disease.
And with over 25 years experience in dentistry a common theme has been heard time and time again;
"But why did nobody tell me this before?"
So, here she is, spreading the word that dental disease is preventable, and not only that, but that the health of our mouth is closely connected to our general health, so by improving the health of our mouths, there is a pretty good chance that will have a positive impact on our general health and well-being too.
